Nakhan Marketing products

NaKhan Premium Vitamin Vodka
70% alcohol 20% Vitamin Water Your Favorite clubbing Vodka!

Prt 4 Nakhan Marketing plan

“Balancing the needs to a new products with pressure to lower costs creates a difficult dilemma for many managers.” (MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.) For my regular Vodka of Nakhan I wanted my vodka to be at a decent price for the regular consumers who may buy them everyday or every month, few weeks and so on. One of the consumers I came across said that some of the vodka she buys that is Smirnoff cost $25 plus tax included which makes the vodka she buys almost $30. So, for my Vodka even though my vodka would be somewhat like a Smirnoff it has way better value and qualities then a Smirnoff has. Therefore Nakhan would cost more then your average Smirnoff. Nakhan would cost about $35 plus tax making it close to $40.

Even though it may cost more you would get a better outcome of drinking my vodka which makes it worth it. My premium Vodka would cost more of course I thought a reasonable price for Premium Nakhan would be $70. It’s great for clubbing and parties and your guest would have a better time foe the evening. I believe that everyone should enjoy a brand of Nakhan vodka for a regular vodka you’d have 60% of the alcohol and the rest the vitamin water you’d need to go on about your day. For the premium Vodka you would have 70% of the alcohol and be able to enjoy your night or day in the town.

prt3 Nakhan Marketing Plan

Furthermore, alcohol interferes with the nutritional process by affecting digestion, storage, utilization, and excretion of nutrients. With my new product Nakhan it could help counter act what alcohol would do to your body otherwise. Thus, preventing some of the alcoholic effects such as hangovers. With a high amount of the vitamin supplements mixed in with the alcohol, counter acting the effects that the alcohol would effect negatively in your body, would help you feel good and be able to go on about your day or night with out thinking of the negative impact later. After words I started doing a concept test. “Concept test evaluates a new product idea, usually before any prototype has been created.” (MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.) I started talking to consumers about my new product Nakhan to get a positive or negative response to my product. Most of the consumers I talked to had thought that vodka that could give you the buzz you want without the possibility of no hangovers but can give you energy was great. "Typically, researchers get consumer reactions to descriptions and visual representations of a proposed prototype.” (MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.)I began working on the bottles for my new product. I wanted a bottle that looks inviting but not too extravagant. I wanted a bottle that says yea I’m vodka but vodka with qualities. I also started working on the pricing of my vodka.

prt 2 of Nakhan Marketing Plan

“Marketing objective is a statement of what is to be accomplished through marketing activities.”(The book MKTG, by Lamb Hair McDaniel). I started planning for my Vodka. MKTG, by Lamb Hair McDaniel it states, “A good strategic plan help protect and grow the firm’s resources.” Therefore, I decided to make new vodka all its own called Nakhan. Nakhan is vitamin vodka that not only gives you the buzz you want but the energy you need to go on through your day or through your night. There are too many people that drink that cant seem to hold down there liquor. With my new product consumers will be able to enjoy their Vodka with the lesser chance of the hang over. I would have two types of Vodka. One type of Vodka is somewhat of your Smirnoff Vodka but has way better qualities then your regular Smirnoff Vodka. I also have Nakhan Premium Vodka which is more my highest quality vodka.

“ Many of today’s most innovative and successful marketers have taken the approach of introducing fewer New products, but taken the necessary steps to ensure these “ Chosen few” are truly unique, better, and , above all, really do address unmet consumer needs.” (MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.) What makes my product so unique your wondering, Well as you know there are many vodka products that are out there in the marketing world. All new products have to have something unique about them that stands out to get your product sold to the consumers. So you have to know your competitors. “Competitors: No firm rely solely on internally generated ideas for new products.”(MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.)" "A big part of any organization’s marketing intelligence system should be monitoring the performance of competitors’ products” (MKTG By Lamb McDaniel.)

FINAL MARKETING PLAN NAKHAN

Nakhan Vodka Marketing Plan
Slogan: “If You Cant Beat um’ Help um’
I started to come across a group of people weather it be marketers or consumers to help me brainstorm more about my idea for vodka. “Creativity is the wellspring of new product ideas, regardless of who comes up with them.” (MKTG, By Lamb McDaniel)
“ The Average fast-moving Consumer goods company introduces 70 to 80 new products per year.”(MKTG, By Lamb Hair McDaniel.)
“A Product can be new to the world, to the market, to the producer or seller, or to some combination of these.” (MKTG, By Lamb Hair McDaniel.) My idea was to start a new product strategy. Which is a plan to that links the new-product development process with the objectives of the marketing department, The business unit, and the corporation. Coming up with a new product is hard but coming up with a beneficial product is even harder. I started thinking about products that most people liked and that maybe incorporated in their everyday lives. I was to focus on making a new Vodka product. While focusing on this, I started segmenting and targeting markets. In the book MKTG, By Lamb Hair McDaniel it states, “Marketing segmentation plays a key role in the marketing strategy of almost all successful organizations.” Basically I started a market segment. Which is a subgroup of people or organizations sharing one or more characteristics that cause them to have similar product needs. I also started to do segmentation bases. Which are characteristics of individuals, groups, or organizations. Then I researched information and interviewed on what kind of Vodkas people like. In the book MKTG, by Lamb Hair McDaniel it states, “Managers need a system for gathering everyday information about developments in the marketing environment.”
I, being the own head of my new product, set out to find consumers who buy vodka products. I started asking around about what kind of Vodka products do they, the consumers look for? One consumer told me that they look for the price of the vodka. The consumer continued that they also look for what type of vodka it is and the quality of that Vodka. Another consumer said that they look at not only the price of the vodka but the brand of the vodka. The consumer continues to say why is one bottle priced higher then the other, what are the qualities that the other vodka has over the other, and the percentage of how much alcohol is in the vodka. So, I took this under consideration when I started mapping out and molding my new product. I also come to find out that people who drink more are more active than others who don’t drink. Furthermore, younger adults drink more vodka then older adults. I have come to realize that most people get drained during the day and lack energy. Most men and women like to look and or feel good about them selves. “Customers: The Marketing concept suggest that customers’ wants and needs should be the springboard for developing new products.” (MKTG, By Lamb Hair McDaniel.). So in the process of looking up this information, I started making a marketing objective.

EOC Week 9

I can recall one time where I went to an electronic store and I was searching for a music program for myself to take home. I came across a rack with different music programs. there were some programs that had very minimum plug-ins, which are just features that come with the program. These plug-ins were features that help you enhance your music. I came across a few programs that were exclusively for studios only and some that you could use on your laptop for personal reasons. So I came across one program called magix music maker there were four different kinds at the time. There was Magix Music Maker nine, ten, eleven and twelve. The only difference between these programs were the higher the number the more plug-ins were included in the program. So I ended up checking out each program and seeing what their benefits were. After checking out each program I settled on getting Magix music maker twelve because it had the most plug-ins and was easy to download. The program cost $55 which seemed reasonable at the time for a music program. So I bought the program and was satisfied until I went back to the electronic store and found the same program for $40. I became very upset at the fact that I paid $15 more for the program.

EOC Week 8

EOC Week 8

The Marketing plan for my Vodka is going great I have decided on a pitch which is Vitamin Vodka. Vitamin Vodka is a alcoholic beverage with a nutritional twist. Of course Vodka will not be a fully healthy drink because of the alcohol but, I have come up with a way to at least make Vodka beneficial to mild to heavy drinkers. I have researched different Vitamins on the internet and found out some information on what vitamins are beneficial to a consumer. Whether the vitamins are used for skin, hair, weight, and energy. My brand will focus on the benefits of this vodka. I’m also thinking about making my vodka less likely to have bad severe hangovers. I have devised that my vodka, which happened to be named Nakhan Vodka, will vary depending on the customer. If the customer is a heavy drinker then they’ll have the Nakhan H ( H for heavy) for the medium drinkers you have the Nakhan Vodka and for the Light drinkers you’ll have the Nakhan L. which basically depends on the consumers alcohol intake that depends on the amount of alcoholic grains that are added to the Distilled water. I am still working on the approach of the cost of the Vodka and the advertising aspects of my new brand. I may do a commercial I may make an animation I may draw out a plan of what’s in the bottle. I may photo shop how the bottle may look but I am not sure. I have been asking people who do drink what is their opinions of my vodka and what they would or would not like about the vodka. I have also asked what they would like in a vodka to help me better understand what the consumers want in a product. Further more, to help me be able to sell my product.

EOC week 7

EOC Week 7
The hardest thing about marketing a product is coming up with something that people like. Another problem is being able to come with advertising and facts about the product that better helps sell your product. Another problem is being able to sell your product at a reasonable price for the consumer. Figuring out what type of consumer its targeting to and coming up with a label for the bottle. I believe advertising will be very hard to come up without sending the wrong message. Being able to come up with an advertising plan that will sell your product.

Vodka Marketing plan

Vodka marketing plan
The V
If you can’t beat them help them
Here comes the new alcohol for the obsessed drinkers that if you can’t make the quit. Give them the alcohol that they love best with some type of nutritional value. Instead of adding extra alcohol like grained alcohol subtract the grained alcohol with more of vitamin substance add more vitamin D or Vitamin C with mix of Ice cream flavors that will substitute the alcohol. They would never know the difference between regular Vodka and nutritional Vodka. When you drink you get hangovers and upset stomach. Instead of a negative effect with Vodka, with this Vodka it will give you more energy and curtain vitamin minerals that will keep you healthy. Just as if you were to take vitamins that keep your skin or hair healthy heart healthy ecs. This vodka would do the same. No negative energy just positive. It’s great to have the Vodka every person who’s a vodka drinker be able to keep going along with their everyday life with no side effect. So instead of fighting alcohol give them what they want while looking out for their interest.

What my class mates think about advertising vs. marketing

“Advertising is how the product is made to be perceived by a target market. Advertising companies come up with campaigns to get people to want to buy, and be happy with buying, an item. A very popular brand today is Starbucks coffee. It’s been around for years now and it has a very strong following of customers. I even worked for the company for a long time.” (Lana M. Cunningham) (http://lulucunning.blogspot.com/)
I agree with this quote because from the show mad men the advertising companies do just deals with campaigning the product to make consumers want to buy the product.
“Marketers focus on what the customers wants and they satisfy what the needs of the customer are. Marketers care about their customers. As for advertisers, they are just trying to focus on selling the product. Advertisers don’t care too much in what the customer needs or to satisfy them.” Cierra Marie Esparza ( http://ccmarieproductions.blogspot.com/)
I agree with this quote because in the book it describes how marketers focus on the costumers.
“Advertising is basically how you promote what you are trying to sell, getting the word out that you have this product and want to sell it. It’s the way you get people to know about the existence of the product. It's the presentation of a product in order to induce individuals to buy or support it. Using billboards, commercials, etc. is part of advertising.” She Continues, “The best way to distinguish the difference between marketing and advertising is to say that marketing is like a recipe.” Shane Hooper ( http://19starsproductions.blogspot.com/)
I agree with this quote because, advertising is promoting a product. I also like how Shane used marketing and advertising as recipes.
“Advertising is more of a public service by advertisement. Marketing concentrates more on the customer values and can sometimes focus all their energy on a certain demographic or age group. On the other hand, Advertising might affect different age groups differently depending on the type of ad and/or who’s doing the advertising.” Warren Thamsanqa Mazengwe (http://warrenthegenius29.blogspot.com/)
In reading all of my classmates blogs I agree with their answers because their answers are very consistent with my answer on marketing vs. advertising

Market and advertising

Marketing vs. Advertising
Marketing and advertising are very similar in their own ways but are distinctly different. In the book MKTG it states, “Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”(MKTG, Lamb, pg3) Advertising has a different approach in the book MKTG States, “Advertising is any form of impersonal paid communication in which the sponsor or company is identified.” As one can see the difference is that marketing deals with creating a marketable product for the consumers. The whole purpose is to make the consumers happy tend to their need and wants. Marketing focuses on the different type of people and what consumers would buy. From coming up with a marketing plan and the product your ready to sell comes the pricing of the product how much people would pay for the product. Marketing also deals with how much they can profit from the product and to better assist and improve on their ideas for the consumers’ wants and needs. The Advertiser does not deal with consumers directly. The advertisers deal the product itself

Week 3 How I buy stuff

How I buy Stuff
My decisions on buying products are not difficult. My decisions are based on things I want, things I desire and most importantly things I need. I think about things that I use more often. I always need an ample amount of toiletries, hair products and food. Products pertaining to that I often will buy. Now I think smart when I buy products. What I mean is when I go to a store I first go into to the store with an initial thought. Why did I come in the store? I’m looking for products I need. My next step is to find the product I’m looking for. I check for prices that will best suit me on my needs. Like the book has stated, “An individual’s buying decisions are further influenced by psychological factors: perception, motivation, learning, and beliefs and attitudes.”(MKTG, Lamb, page 76). I follow that statement to a T. If the product I’m looking at is a good product my perception on buying it is good. If the product I’m looking at is a reasonable price, I’ll be more motivated to buy it. If the product I buy is a good quality product and I’m glad I bought it at a reasonable price, then my beliefs on a product and attitude is great! I’m not a very needy person so I don’t shop excessively if I don’t need to. It comes in handy not needing to buy so I save a whole lot more money that way. I shop for things I like, for luxury and need just so as long as the products I buy come at a reasonable price. Price is definitely key to me when I buy. That’s is how I buy stuff just for me.

Me as a Consumer week 2

Me as the consumer week 2
I am a 21 year old African American woman. My family liked to save money all the time. No matter how nice something is if the cost wasn’t right for them in their words, “THEY AINT BUYIN’ IT!” So I learned at a young age to don’t ask for something if it’s pricey. I shop for things I like that are for the most part on sale such as clothes, food, EST. Since I, being one of many women who live in the desert, I always get products for my hair to get and keep my hair healthy. The heat is very strenuous on my hair so, hair products are a necessity for me. What also comes in are striating irons to keep my hair healthy looking and fresh. As a woman in the heat, I buy Baby Lotion and oil to keep my skin moisturized and soft. I buy the bare necessities of course like soap, deodorant, tooth paste, and other feminine toiletries that all women can not go with out. Las Vegas is a nice place to be in so I always get something for luxury whether it’s video games or something that pertains to music such as CD’s, music programs, instrumental equipment and or accessories for programs or musical equipment I have. I have to get pampered sometimes so, I get my nails, feet and hair done by professionals from time to time. I’m a sweets fanatic so I also always get some type a snack from candy to cakes. I don’t shop to often because of my budget. I like things simple sometimes even though my ideas or creativity may say otherwise. When It comes to me being the consumer, I like things that look expensive but don’t cost me an arm and a leg. When I can become the next Rockefeller then price wont matter to me much. Until then simple product simple prices.

I cannot recall the best customer service I had. I have had a family member that has had excellent customer service. I believe at the time he was purchasing a BMW. He went to a BMW dealership ran across a salesman who was so polite. My cousin must have had a million questions for the man. But, the salesmen put on a smile and answered all his questions without irritation. He gave him prices and let him even drive BMWs around to get a feel with what car he wanted.
I was very impressed at the salesman. He gave my cousin a deal on the car he bought and my cousin did not have to worry about any expenses on the car if parts failed. Overall I believe my cousin had an excellent experience as a customer.
